'Which Way' Magazine
All applicants will receive a copy of this magazine by 15 August either by post - if the address on the application is within the UK - or by email as an 'e-zine' publication. It is published by The Independent in association with UCAS, and contains essential information about Confirmation and Clearing, as well as useful features on life at university and college.

BBC Exam Results Campaign

Each year, the BBC runs an exam results service on the radio and the internet to help you to make decisions after you have received your exam results. The BBC also links to a free national telephone helpline provided by the Department for Education and Skills (DfES) and staffed by professional careers advisers.

Radio 1
There will be on-air information and advice for Higher and Standard, A level, AS and GCSE students from Tuesday 7 August. The website www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/onelife has advice on everything from gap years and jobs, to entering university and college and funding the course of your dreams.

Radio 2
Programmes for students and parents will be broadcast on Radio 2. Visit the website www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/studentessentials for more information.

International students

Throughout the year, we attend a number of international events hosted by, among others, the British Council Education UK. We attend as many events as possible to ensure that you and your parents and advisers are informed of our services. If you require any further information about any international events, please contact your local British Council office. There is also a section for international students on the UCAS website.

yougofurther.co.uk is a new website exclusively for students applying for, or attending, a higher education course which is supported by UCAS.
