The Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) in partnership with the Council for Industry and Higher Education (CIHE), has launched a new guide entitled The Value of Higher Education.

This guide aims to explain the benefits of Higher Education and explores the variety of routes available for those seeking extra qualifications after leaving school. It describes the skills that employers seek in graduates and how a Higher Education qualification can enhance employment prospects. There are also chapters on getting started in a job, alternatives to studying at degree level and managing money.
