Each year we publish a series of news releases that provide detailed statistics relating to key dates in the UCAS application cycle. These news releases are issued after the closing dates listed below, usually two to three weeks later.
Applications received by 15 October 2004
This news release covers applications received by 15 October, the closing date for courses leading to professional qualifications in medicine, dentistry and veterinary science/medicine and for all courses at the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge.
Applications received by 15 January 2005
15 January is the closing date for most other courses. This news release will be accompanied by the first Applications Digest for 2005 entry, which will show the number of applications received by each university and college and a comparison with the position at the same time last year.
Applications received by 24 March 2005
24 March is the closing date for applications for art and design through the sequential route. This news release will include an Applications Digest.
Applications received by 30 June 2005
30 June is the last date for receipt of late applications. Applications received after this date will be held for Clearing. This news release will include the final Applications Digest for the year.
Following the publication of A-level results on Thursday 18 August 2005 we will issue statistical news releases about the number of accepted applicants. We will also publish a one-page statistical summary on the UCAS website daily, from Friday 19 August to Friday 16 September.
