The web-enabled software is easy to use and therefore, the system can be accessed anywhere there is an internet connection;
reduction in paperwork - information can be viewed online anytime;
support and advice is available from UCAS;
you can practice online as much and as often as you like, as changes can be made to your application at any stage before the completed document is sent to UCAS;
online applications are processed within 24 hours, compared to up to three weeks for paper;

once you have applied you can track the progress of your application through the UCAS website
The use of electronic application will help to effect major improvements in the admissions process which will be developed over time, but in order to move forward to a fairer and more transparent admissions system there is a need to ensure that all applicants use the online application system as soon as they are able.
To begin enjoying the benefits of UCAS Apply follow the simple steps outlined below:
Log on to www.ucas.com and click on the Apply button.
First you must register. This is free and will take approximately fifteen minutes.
After registering for Apply you will be given a username and you must also choose a password, which you will need to use to enter your application.
Make a note of your username and password as you will need it to complete your application form.
