Preparing for the 14-19 Reform Programme - QCA/UCAS/CEA Survey

This questionnaire, our first to cover the full 14-19 phase, is the ninth in a series of surveys which began as a means of informing HE and education policy makers about schools' and colleges' experience of Curriculum 2000.

We have tailored the questionnaire to your centre type to ensure that the questions are most relevant to your organisation.

  • complete and return the paper version

The key purposes of this year's survey are to:

  • capture the response of schools and colleges to current 14-19 developments

  • establish a 'baseline' for evaluating forthcoming and future developments

  • assess the level of collaborative provision in 14-19 education

  • gain feedback on the Diploma

  • review attitudes to a series of key issues

I do hope that you will find the time to complete the questionnaire. This is a real opportunity to let us know what you are currently doing in your curriculum (and about your future curriculum planning) to inform and influence policy makers with whom the findings will be shared. The findings will also assist Higher Education in formulating appropriate entry requirements.

For information on the different levels discussed within the survey, please follow this link and then scroll down to the section ‘How different qualifications compare’.

Do not be deterred if the exact numbers are not easily available. We have indicated where approximate numbers will give us a general picture, and would appreciate that you fill in the information that you can.

We look forward to receiving your completed questionnaire by Friday 20th July 2007 by post, email or online.
